First pics of Antigua, Guatemala
Here are pics of our first couple days in town. Every day we walk about 5 blocks to the Christian Spanish Academy, where we work one-on-one with our teachers from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm (with a break from 10:00 to 10:30). Then we walk back to the house we’re living in (with 6 other students), where our house-mother has lunch waiting for us. Then the afternoon is ours to do with as we please… which usually means walking around town, finding interesting places, and then ducking into a cafe to avoid the afternoon rain, connect to the internet, and munch on some goodies.
Enjoy the pics… and for a little variety, check out what Stacey’s been writing on her blog over at parkviewelementaryschool.blogspot.com!
