Cine Lounge
Last Thursday night we went to a place in Antigua called Cine Lounge. It’s an interesting theater with tables and chairs that serves food and drinks. Admission is free, but of course you’re expected to buy something. So we bought two Cokes and enjoyed watching the Bucket List for about $4.50. And they brought us a little basket of popcorn, too.
Unfortunately, they only show five movies a week, three a day, and they’re not all at convenient times. But that’s OK. I highly recommend it, if you’re able to go. It’s a block south of the Central Park on the east side (right next to Mono Loco).
My apologies for the poor quality of the pictures, but it was dark, and I didn’t want to use the flash.
By the way, I’m posting this from the “& Cafe” (that’s what their signs say) where we finally escaped from the rain. We may be having a little spillover from tropical storm Dolly, or whatever it’s called these days. It’s a nice little cafe really close to the Central Park (about two stores north on the west side) where Stacey likes to get coffee and dessert while I drink a Pepsi. Their wifi seems pretty consistent, unlike some other places I may post about someday…
